I
brought a few friends to see Mike when he was playing at the Middle East.
Sue had never seen him before. We showed up early and the Middle East
was really quiet. Tim spotted Mike eating dinner in the restaurant part
and suggested I say hi. I didn’t want to bother him so I waited.
Mike
played a bunch of songs. Of course he was amazing as usual. He added a bit more spunk
to “Daylight” daring to tattle-tale “I know what you smell
like!” He
played another song, talking about an old man and the regret he had when
he never said anything “When She Walked By”.
The song really made me think about the fact that I never got up
enough courage to say hello to Mike. So at the end of the set I walked up to Mike with my friend Sue and finally met him. He’s the nicest guy. We talked about his single coming out locally at radio stations and he thanked me for my website. |
